2025 Grant Applications.
Our mission is to promote firearm awareness through education and safety while fostering shooting sports for individuals, groups, and organizations. We achieve this by facilitating fundraising opportunities and grants.

Maximum Grant Amount Requests
For 2025, the maximum amount requested by each applicant may not exceed $2,000.00.
 
We are accepting online applications only. Incomplete submissions will not be processed.

Grant Recipients
To ensure funds are used for their intended purpose, each grant recipient will be required to submit final reports with receipts to the Shooting Sports Association.

Allowed Funding
For the 2025 grant process, the Shooting Sports Association will consider the following for funding:  

  • Archery Equipment (including bows) 
  • Air Rifle Equipment
  • Ammunition
  • Clay Targets
  • Throwers
  • Eye and Ear Protection
  • Paper Targets
  • Silhouette Targets
  • Muzzle Loading Equipment

NOT Allowed Funding
For the 2025 grant process, the Shooting Sports Association will NOT support the following for funding:   

  • Firearms
  • Clothing
  • Travel
  • Trailers
  • Gun Safes
  • Meals
  • Businesses
  • Administrative Expenses
  • Promotional Items (t-shirts, etc.)
  • Scoring Systems
  • Range Fees
  • Construction/Range Improvements
  • Individual Scholarships

2023 Recipients
As a result of our yearly fundraising efforts, in 2023 we awarded over $23,000 in grants to (18) organizations. We look forward to increasing this opportunity in 2024.
