The Smith & Wesson® M&P® FPC™ Series Folding Carbine, in 10mm, is a side-folding, pistol-caliber carbine that accepts M&P double-stack pistol magazines. The side-folding design features a locking latch and does not interfere with mounted optics. The flat-faced trigger offers a clean, crisp break, and the magazine catch is reversible. The handguard has a Picatinny rail on top for optics or sights, while the rest of the rail is covered in M-LOK® slots to attach accessories.

The G47 MOS was developed for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2019 and is now available to the commercial market. The G47 MOS offers the same reliability and performance as the G17 Gen5 MOS, with a shortened dust cover and maintains parts compatibility with the G17 Gen5 MOS, G19 Gen5 MOS, and G45 MOS.
